⚖️ “I think putin made a mistake by sending a low-level delegation to Istanbul for talks with Ukraine. The ball is clearly in his court. Now he must cooperate and take the desire for peace seriously,” Rutte emphasized.
🤝 The Secretary General positively assessed Ukraine’s decision to start a dialogue: “They sent a delegation that is truly ready to negotiate a ceasefire.”
🇺🇸 He also noted the leadership role of the United States in the settlement: “President Trump broke the deadlock by taking the initiative into his own hands. This is extremely helpful.”
