Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm and leader of the far-right “Confederation” party, Krzysztof Bosak, has called for blocking Ukraine’s accession to the European Union after one of the units of the Special Operations Forces was granted the honorary name “Heroes of the UPA.” This was reported by RMF24.

According to the politician, Poland should halt Ukraine’s European integration process until Kyiv abandons what he called the “cult of criminals” and restores full access to the exhumation of victims of the Volyn tragedy.
Bosak stated that Warsaw should adopt a tougher stance in relations with Ukraine.
“If we want to exert real pressure on Ukraine, we need to move to more concrete steps that will have an effective impact,” the Polish politician said.
Among the proposed measures, he mentioned a possible suspension of Starlink funding used by Ukrainian forces, as well as rejecting joint financing mechanisms for aid to Ukraine through borrowed funds.
