🌏 So far, official invitations to the summit have only been extended to four of the Alliance’s partner countries: Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.
😮 “Almost all allies expressed surprise to Washington about this decision,” the source told the publication.
🗓️ The issue of a possible invitation to Zelensky may be raised on May 14 during an informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Antalya. However, no decisions will be made there as the event is of an unofficial nature.
⚖️ According to journalists, this year’s summit in The Hague will have a significantly more restrained agenda than in previous years, in order to avoid potential conflicts with U.S. President Donald Trump.
📌 At the same time, the complete exclusion of Kyiv from the summit is not final — Ukraine may be represented at the level of foreign or defense ministers.
