🇺🇦 The fifth president and leader of “European Solidarity” Petro Poroshenko stated that good relations between Ukraine and the USA serve the interests of both sides. He made this statement during an interview on the British television channel Sky News.

💬 Commenting on the escalation in relations between Ukraine’s leadership and the USA after the meeting in the Oval Office, Poroshenko noted: “Believe me, negotiating with US President Donald Trump is no easy task. But at the same time, I had quite successful negotiations with Trump in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Their result was the supply of lethal weapons and sanctions imposed on the ‘Nord Stream 2’.”
🌍 Poroshenko emphasized that the US president and the United States themselves are strategic partners for Ukraine. “Transatlantic unity is a key factor in our future victory,” he added.
🤝 “The only winner from the conflict in the Oval Office is Vladimir Putin. This is bad for both Ukraine and the United States. We urgently need to restore dialogue between the two strategic partners,” emphasized the fifth president.
🇬🇧 Poroshenko thanked Great Britain, the British Prime Minister, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, the French President, and all other leaders for their efforts to restore dialogue between Ukraine and the USA. “I also welcome yesterday’s summit in London,” he noted.
⚖️ Poroshenko highlighted the importance of strengthening negotiating positions and hopes that the President of Ukraine will be wise enough to seize the opportunities for restoring dialogue.
