Liechtenstein is joining the Enlarged Partial Agreement on the establishment of a Special Tribunal to investigate the crime of aggression against Ukraine. This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

According to him, after this decision, the total number of participating countries in the initiative has increased to 25 states.
Sybiha thanked Liechtenstein for its support of international law and its consistent position on holding perpetrators of war crimes accountable.
It is expected that on May 14–15, at the meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Moldova, the relevant agreement will be officially approved.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry emphasizes that the creation of the tribunal is a historic step in international justice, aimed at ensuring accountability for the crime of aggression — similar to the practice applied after the Nuremberg trials.
Ukraine calls on other states to join the initiative to strengthen the international legal system and bring those responsible to justice.
