According to UP, the President’s Office discussed the possibility of announcing a suspicion of state treason against the head of the “Servant of the People” faction, David Arakhamia. This could have happened on November 20 — the day of his meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The alleged goal was to identify the “culprits” behind the leak in the Mindich case. Arakhamia was considered by the President’s Office as the main “political saboteur.” At Bankova, his contacts with Roman Abramovich, a trusted associate of Putin dating back to the first Istanbul negotiations, were recalled and interpreted as possible Russian influence.
On that day, deputies were expecting news about a possible resignation of Andriy Yermak and a general government reshuffle. At the same time, the head of the President’s Office could have presented Zelenskyy with his own vision of the investigation, identified the “guilty” parties behind the leak, and framed the faction’s outrage as an internal diversion.
The plan was to serve Arakhamia the suspicion notice directly during the meeting with the president.
However, the plan was not implemented: neither SBU Chief Vasyl Malyuk nor Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko agreed to sign the documents. According to sources, even despite threats of resignations and preparations for them, no officials wanted to participate in such a scenario.
