NABU detectives secretly wiretapped “Servant of the People” MP Yuriy Kisel, a close friend of “Kvartal 95” co-founder Serhiy Shefir, for over two years, reports Dzerkalo Tyzhnya citing law enforcement sources.

According to sources, the equipment was recently removed, and Kisel himself was unaware of its existence. The removal caused concern for both Kisel and Shefir, as numerous confidential conversations took place between them over the two years, including discussions with government officials.
The publication clarifies that the wiretapping was not part of the “Midas” special operation but was related to potential corruption schemes in the higher echelons of power.
For reference: Serhiy Shefir is a Ukrainian producer, co-founder of the “Kvartal 95” studio, and former first assistant to the President of Ukraine from 2019–2024. He is mentioned in the NABU corruption case in the energy sector, known as the “Mindich tapes,” which concerns money laundering through Energoatom and other state enterprises totaling around $100 million.
