In December 2025, the Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is delivering an average of about 950 interceptor drones per day to the Defense Forces. This was reported by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.

According to him, these unmanned aerial vehicles significantly strengthen Ukraine’s protection against drone terror, allowing expensive resources to be preserved for intercepting cruise and ballistic missiles.
The minister emphasized that the procurement of anti‑Shahed UAVs is one of the key priorities of defense policy for 2026. Currently, the state is systematically cooperating with the market to guarantee continuous and sufficient supply volumes — contracts have already been signed with more than 10 manufacturers of such drones.
In addition, tactical‑level interceptor drones have been integrated into the DOT‑Chain Defence marketplace. This allows combat brigades to independently choose the necessary means to counter enemy reconnaissance and strike drones.
