However, the documents contain no evidence of personal contact between Yanukovych and Epstein. The U.S. Department of Justice released the document, which has been titled the “Epstein files.”

It contains over 3 million pages of materials featuring politicians, businessmen, and international events. The word “Ukraine” appears 1,978 times in the documents, mostly in the context of the 2014 Revolution of Dignity, Yanukovych’s flight from the country, and geopolitical processes surrounding Ukraine.

One of the letters, dated January 2011, concerns the “Ukrainian Lunch” in Davos, organized by businessman Viktor Pinchuk. In the correspondence, Epstein inquired about the possibility of attending the event without an official invitation. Participants mentioned in the event included Yanukovych, then-President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski, and financier George Soros.
Additionally, the documents mention Ukraine’s second president, Leonid Kuchma—his name appears three times in connection with legal matters in Kyiv. The files also reference political consultant Paul Manafort and modeling agencies. However, no compromising materials regarding these individuals were recorded in the documents.
Investigators also found Epstein’s correspondence with a Ukrainian woman, Anastasia N., who between 2015 and 2019 selected young girls for him. He covered her expenses for beauty salons, flights, and equipment.
Some documents also mention potential business interests of the financier in Ukraine. For example, in 2017, he discussed a potential deal in the banking sector and considered purchasing a five-level villa in Lviv.
