This was stated by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Georgiy Tykhyy, during a briefing, noting that the main goal of the meeting is to define the parameters of various ceasefire regimes currently under discussion.

🔍 “The essence of the meeting is to clarify which ceasefire regimes are being discussed, how to control and monitor them,” added Tykhyy.
🛑 Ukraine has already agreed to the American proposal for a 30-day temporary ceasefire, stating that it is ready to implement it if Russia also agrees. However, the Kremlin continues to put forward new conditions and manipulations regarding this issue.
🇺🇦 Tykhyy emphasized that Ukraine is clearly demonstrating its intention to move toward peace, but the negotiations in Saudi Arabia will be considered as bilateral Ukrainian-American talks. “There are no planned contacts with the Russians,” he concluded.
