According to him, Ukraine’s experience of modern warfare, especially in the field of drones and air defense, is already attracting global interest.
“Ukraine is the Silicon Valley of the defense industry,” the diplomat emphasized.
Crompton explained that this is not only about technology, but also about the extraordinary speed of innovation and the effectiveness of its application on the battlefield. This, he said, makes Ukraine’s experience unique.
He also stressed that Ukraine is already capable of training other countries, particularly in countering drones.
“Ukraine has learned a lot and is capable of teaching others a great deal about modern warfare,” the ambassador noted.
The United Kingdom expects further strengthening of cooperation with Ukraine in the defense sector, including joint projects, investments, and the development of weapons production.
In addition, London has already signed a long-term defense-industrial cooperation agreement with Kyiv, which is intended to elevate the partnership to a new level.
