⚖️ At the same time, human rights activist and lawyer Kateryna Rashevska from the Regional Human Rights Center urged caution in interpreting this statement. She reminded that the US has been actively working on this issue for nearly three years and is part of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children.
📢 “The fact that this was news to some in the US doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate their help. If new opportunities arise, that’s good. But Russian propaganda and challenges with identifying the children could lead to manipulations, claiming there were no abductions and that all children have already been reunited with relatives,” emphasized Rashevska.
🇺🇦 She highlighted that Ukraine is ready to provide all necessary information, as some American politicians already see the truth about the abduction of Ukrainian children, and it will not be a surprise to them.
