US President Donald Trump announced his intention to relocate all homeless people from the American capital, Washington, to remote regions.

The White House chief stated that he wants to make Washington “safer and more beautiful than ever before.”
“Homeless people must leave (Washington — ed.) immediately. We will provide you with places to live, but far from the capital. Criminals, you won’t have to go anywhere — we will put you in prison, where you belong,” Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social.
At the same time, the White House did not provide journalists with any response regarding the legal grounds for such relocation.
