This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the capital and Kyiv region. The suspects face long prison terms.
“The Security Service and National Police have gathered evidence against three more russian war criminals involved in the killings of civilians during the temporary occupation of part of Kyiv Oblast,” the press service said.
According to the Security Service, one of the perpetrators is 35-year-old Captain Timur Tamazov, commander of a unit of the 76th Air Assault Division of russia (based in Pskov). According to the investigation, on February 27, 2022, the occupier’s unit took combat positions near the village of Zdvizhivka in Bucha district.

After that, Tamazov gathered his subordinates and gave the order to shoot to kill local residents who were trying to flee to Ukrainian-controlled territory. It was documented that on that day, four employees of a construction company from the Kyiv region attempted to evacuate from the combat zone in their own minibus. Tamazov’s subordinates fired at close range at the builders’ vehicle as it was heading toward Borodyanka.
According to the expert report, the occupiers fired 20 shots at civilians with Kalashnikov rifles. As a result of the gunshot wounds, two men died on the spot, and two others sustained serious injuries.
Another suspect is 23-year-old serviceman Vladimir Osipov of the 64th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 35th Army of the russian Armed Forces, who on March 28, 2022, shot and killed two civilians in Hostomel with an automatic rifle.
Another perpetrator is 48-year-old company commander Alexey Abramov of the 64th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the russian occupation forces. During the capture of the village of Ivankiv, he ordered subordinates to torture civilians and compile “execution lists” of resistance movement participants.
All three occupiers have been charged with war crimes that caused loss of life, committed by a group of persons acting in concert. Comprehensive measures are ongoing to hold all occupiers responsible for torturing and killing Ukrainian civilians.
