The pontiff published the corresponding message on the social network X. He emphasized that during severe frosts, strikes on energy facilities cause serious harm to the civilian population.
The Pope called for the restoration and intensification of efforts aimed at achieving peace.
“I pray for those who are suffering, and once again I appeal to stop the violence and to renew efforts to achieve peace,” Leo XIV stated.
