The number of Ukrainian attacks on the front has equaled the number of Russian assaults, which may indicate certain changes in the dynamics of combat operations. This was stated on Hromadske Radio by military analyst and retired National Guard major Oleksii Hetman.

He noted that just a month or two ago, roughly one-third of all daily engagements were Ukrainian counterstrikes, while two-thirds were Russian assault actions. Now, according to him, the ratio has leveled out to approximately 50/50.
Hetman explained that the total number of combat engagements in General Staff reports does not refer exclusively to Russian assaults, as it also includes Ukrainian counterattacks. On some days, he said, the number of Ukrainian strikes even exceeds Russian attacks.
The analyst also referred to assessments by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, who have noted a shift in the balance of activity on the battlefield.
According to him, the equalization in the number of combat actions may indicate a certain stabilization of the front line and early signs of changes in the dynamics of the war.
However, Hetman emphasized that this is not yet a full turning point, but only its initial phase.
