U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will hold a personal meeting at the White House on October 17 to discuss further military support for Kyiv, reports Axios.

According to the publication, a key topic of the talks will be the potential provision of U.S. long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, which could significantly strengthen the country’s defense capabilities.
An Axios source noted that the meeting will cover issues that cannot be resolved over the phone, highlighting the importance of high-level negotiations.
Zelensky is expected to arrive in the U.S. on October 16, while the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, will be in Washington from October 13 to prepare for the Ukrainian leader’s visit.
