🔍 The investigation revealed that the Kyiv Metropolis shows signs of affiliation with a foreign religious organization — the Russian Orthodox Church, whose activities are banned in Ukraine.
📅 Metropolitan Onufriy has until August 18 to provide official decisions from the highest governing bodies of the UOC on the following matters:
📤 Withdrawal of the UOC from the structure of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC);
🧾 Annulment of the ROC statute provisions for the UOC;
🔙 Withdrawal of UOC representatives from all ROC bodies — synods, councils, commissions, etc.;
❌ Invalidation of ROC decisions on the annexation of UOC dioceses and appointment of leadership in place of Ukrainian officials.
🗣️ Metropolitan Onufriy must also publicly declare his disagreement with being included in ROC bodies and submit a statement to terminate powers and ties with it.
📄 Additionally, DESS has approved a list of religious organizations associated with the Kyiv Metropolis of the UOC-MP, which are also subject to the order’s requirements. The list includes 102 religious organizations across various regions of Ukraine.
