🚀 Clear intentions from the Kremlin to continue the war against Ukraine persist, despite diplomatic signals. This is stated in the operational report of the Estonian Defence Forces, cited by ERR.

Despite the renewed attention to negotiations in Moscow following President Trump’s ultimatum, Estonian military officials urge caution:
“History teaches us that Putin’s promises cannot be trusted. His objectives in Ukraine remain unchanged. The offers of negotiations are merely a tactical cover and an attempt to influence Washington,” the report says.
According to the Estonian Defence Forces, the current “showcase” talks are aimed at easing tensions between the Kremlin and the White House, but in reality, they are just another stalling tactic.
📈 Escalation of combat activity:
- In June, Russia used 5,500 drones of the “Geran” and “Gerbera” types;
- In July — already 6,200 drones;
- The goal is to overload Ukraine’s air defense system.
🎯 Hot spots:
The main target of Russian attacks is Pokrovsk: around one-third of all strikes are concentrated there. The city is partially encircled from the flanks.
Ukrainian forces are holding Pokrovsk to buy time for the preparation of new defensive lines.
The enemy is trying to use a similar envelopment tactic near Kupyansk and Kostyantynivka, but for now, there is no encirclement threat in those areas.
Estonian military officials conclude: neither side currently has enough advantage to make a decisive breakthrough on the front, but Russia is clearly demonstrating its intent to continue the offensive campaign.
