At the direction of Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, work has already begun on forming a list of potential candidates, and an advisor for the selection process has been appointed.
The Ministry of Economy emphasized that updating the Supervisory Board is intended to strengthen crisis management, ensure a rapid response to risks, and enhance cooperation with anti-corruption agencies.
The ministry also clarified that the current board is not involved in any actions that have drawn the attention of law enforcement and expects its full cooperation in transferring documentation and analytical materials to the new board.
In addition, the State Audit Service of Ukraine has launched a comprehensive inspection of Energoatom following an NABU investigation. The procurement audit will last up to 15 working days, while the full company audit will take up to 90 days. The findings will be handed over to law enforcement and anti-corruption bodies.
