During a working trip to the Southern operational zone, the Commander-in-Chief visited combat units and held a meeting with commanders. They discussed the state of execution of combat missions, existing problems, ways to resolve them, and also identified priority steps to strengthen defense and ensure troop support.
Syrskyi emphasized that logistics, evacuation of the wounded, uninterrupted supply of ammunition, and technical support of units are key conditions for the resilience of Ukrainian defense.
According to him, the situation in this section of the front remains difficult. Russian troops continue to apply pressure, using small assault groups, artillery, drones, and in some cases armored vehicles. At the same time, Ukrainian forces are not only holding their positions but also conducting active offensive operations.
The Commander-in-Chief separately noted the servicemen of the 82nd and 95th Air Assault Brigades for their courage, endurance, and high professionalism in battle.
He stressed that an unchanged priority remains the effective execution of combat missions with maximum preservation of the lives and health of Ukrainian defenders, as well as strengthening defensive capabilities along all sections of the front.
