Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the large-scale deployment of aerial unmanned systems is delivering concrete combat results. According to him, in October alone these systems struck about 77,000 enemy targets — the best results were demonstrated by FPV drones and heavy bombers.

The command is also actively increasing the capabilities of ground robotic complexes (GRCs). GRCs are expanding kill zones and are primarily intended to preserve personnel lives; in October they delivered nearly 300,000 kg of provisions to the front.
Syrskyi emphasized the importance of developing UAV employment tactics: increasing the number of training crews, involving personnel, and creating infrastructure for effective operation of unmanned systems units. He also noted that the Russians are adopting Ukraine’s experience — forming UAV regiments and investing in interceptor drones — so the Armed Forces must constantly improve to maintain a technological edge.
Separately, the commander-in-chief reported progress in electronic warfare: in October twice as many short-range EW systems were delivered to the front compared to September, which enhances the ability to counter enemy drones. Against the backdrop of changes in the international context and increased adversary investment, these steps are critically important for sustaining defense capability.
