🇸🇪 Sweden does not plan to reduce its support for Ukraine and aims to make it as effective as possible for Kyiv. This was stated by Sweden’s Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Benjamin Dousa, during a visit to the capital.

🗣️ “Our goal is to maximize the benefits for the Ukrainian government. Whatever you need — we will be there,” said Dousa, adding that over two days, he held at least five bilateral meetings with Ukrainian ministers, always starting with the question: “What can we do for you?”
🌍 The minister emphasized that Sweden, unlike some other countries, is not scaling back support. According to him, Ukraine still has many true friends in Europe.
🚑 He also highlighted that the Swedish government strives to provide aid flexibly and quickly — including humanitarian support, particularly in areas near the front line.
🏫 In addition, Dousa announced a new initiative — Sweden will allocate €2.15 million to the Swedish Center for the European Future to expand the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE). The funds will go toward retaining faculty, educational grants, and research related to Ukraine’s accession to the EU.
