He announced this on his Telegram channel. The politicians discussed components for ending the war and sanctions against russia.
“I met with General Keith Kellogg, the U.S. President’s Special Representative. We had a productive conversation,” the message reads.
The parties discussed steps toward establishing peace and specific joint actions that can be taken to bring it closer. Among the priorities were strengthening Ukraine’s air defense systems, joint production, and procurement of defense weapons in cooperation with European partners.
The politicians also paid special attention to the need to increase sanctions pressure on russia and all those who support it.

Zelensky expressed hope that Washington would maintain its leadership, as russia will not stop its aggression unless “its irrational ambitions are stopped by force.”

“I thank Keith Kellogg for this visit to Ukraine. I’m grateful to President Trump for important signals of support and positive decisions for both our countries. We value the support of the American people,” the president concluded.
