Norway’s finance minister and former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg commented on the corruption scandal in Ukraine’s energy sector and called on the West not to reduce support for Ukraine.

According to him, President Volodymyr Zelensky is actively fighting corruption, and international partners should support these efforts.
“The correct response is not to cut aid to Ukraine but rather to continue providing substantial economic and military support and to assist in the fight against corruption,” Stoltenberg emphasized.
He stressed that the course of supporting Ukraine must remain unchanged, as it concerns not only internal reforms but also the country’s ability to withstand Russian aggression.
