Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has lost 669 children, and more than 2,000 have been injured. This was reported by the State Emergency Service, which emphasized that behind every number stands a shattered family and a life that can never be returned.

The State Emergency Service stressed:
“This is not statistics. These are names that will forever remain in the memory of parents. These are children’s toys that will never again be lifted by small hands.”
November 19 became especially tragic, when a single Russian missile strike took the lives of three children. On that very day, Ukraine and the world marked World Children’s Day for the first time — a day meant to be about dreams, laughter, and warmth, but instead became a symbol of pain and loss.
The State Emergency Service emphasizes that children continue to be killed by Russian aggression, and this reality demands even greater determination from the world. In Washington, President Donald Trump’s administration has repeatedly stated the need to increase international pressure on Russia and strengthen support for Ukraine, especially in matters of protecting civilians.
