Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski stated that further weakening of Russia’s economy could force Vladimir Putin to agree to peace negotiations.

According to him, economic pressure should make the Kremlin understand that achieving its goals by continuing the war is impossible.
Sikorski also noted that at the current pace of Russia’s offensive, it would take decades to occupy Ukraine.
“This is the problem with dictators: when you are in power for 20 years, almost no one tells you what reality actually is,” the minister concluded.
