Romanian President Nikushor Dan stated that the country is not yet ready to intercept Russian drones and missiles over Ukrainian territory, reports Digi24.

According to Dan, his team held preliminary consultations with representatives of the state apparatus, the military, and foreign policy advisors. The president emphasized that international rules of conflict stipulate that certain actions can be interpreted as entering a war.
For now, the answer to the question of possible interception is “most likely no.” At the same time, Bucharest does not rule out revising its decision depending on how the situation develops.
