According to Iryna Herashchenko and Oleksii Honcharenko, an appeal was sent to the European Parliament and the parliaments of European countries to condemn the murder of Parubiy as an act of political terror by Russia and to honor his memory with a minute of silence.
“We appeal to law enforcement agencies with the demand to conduct a professional and urgent investigation in cooperation with international structures, including Interpol, taking into account the hybrid threats from the Russian Federation. The Verkhovna Rada calls on international partners to strengthen sanctions pressure on Russia and emphasizes the importance of strengthening national unity,” Herashchenko stated.
