Poroshenko noted that to implement this strategic course, Ukraine must carry out the necessary domestic reforms, as also highlighted in the European Parliament Resolution. He urged the authorities to take these recommendations into account.
The party leader recalled that during his recent visit to the United Kingdom, he met with government officials and politicians who confirmed the UK’s status as a reliable partner of Ukraine. At the same time, he pointed out that the agreement is symbolic but creates an important foundation for further cooperation.
Poroshenko stressed that the path to NATO for Ukraine involves democracy, freedom, armament, defense industry, finance, and state security, which ensure its independence and resilience against external threats.
