Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that Poland and the Baltic countries, according to him, deliberately demonize Russia because they supposedly fear it.

Commenting on relations with these states, Peskov noted that Moscow has problems both with Poland and with the Baltic countries. According to him, politicians who come to power there begin to “fiercely hate Russia and Russians.”
The Kremlin spokesperson added that he considers this attitude toward Russia a “big mistake.” In his view, Poland and the Baltic countries could gain significantly more from interacting with Russia and Russian culture.
