After the meeting between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Florida, the parties were still unable to agree on the issue of future security guarantees for Ukraine.

According to the publication, one of the key stumbling blocks remains Russia’s territorial demands. The Kremlin continues to insist on international recognition of the occupied Ukrainian territories and the determination of their future status.
Other aspects also remain unresolved:
- the possible format of security guarantees from the US and European partners,
- Russia’s further position regarding the legal recognition of the occupied regions,
- the conditions under which it may be possible to advance toward peace negotiations.
According to journalists, the goal of the Florida meeting was to find a compromise path toward real peace talks. However, it was not possible to agree on the key security and territorial issues, and no progress was achieved in the negotiations.
