A new Economist/YouGov poll has shown that U.S. President Donald Trump’s ratings are declining, and Americans are increasingly using negative terms to describe him.

According to the study:
- 56% of respondents strongly or somewhat disapprove of his job performance.
- 47% would describe Trump as “racist,” 24% would not, and 29% have no opinion.
- 49% would call him “corrupt,” 23% would not, and 29% have no opinion.
- 46% consider him “tough,” 22% do not, and 32% have no opinion.
The main concerns for Americans remain inflation and the economy.
The poll also showed that Trump’s net approval rating is currently lower than Joe Biden’s at the same stage of his presidency, and lower than Trump’s own rating during his previous term.
