The head of the Office of International Policy of the Polish President’s Chancellery, Marcin Przidach, stated that Nawrocki’s decision fully aligns with national interests. He emphasized that this is not a boycott, but a carefully considered step: “Prime Minister Orban received the signal and, as a pragmatic person, understands it.”
Przidach also reminded that Nawrocki had met with Donald Trump and discussed important issues of energy cooperation. According to him, if Orban seeks closer cooperation with Russia in this area, it contradicts Poland’s interests, which are oriented toward partnership with the United States.
