More than 52% of German citizens believe that Ukraine should give up part of its territories to reach a peace agreement with Russia. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Forsa Institute.

The highest number of supporters of this position is among voters of the right-wing populist party Alternative for Germany — almost three quarters. At the same time, 48% of Social Democrat supporters and 43% of CDU/CSU voters also backed the idea of territorial concessions.
The survey was conducted on August 18–19 among 1,002 respondents.
