Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak, using leaked databases of Russian border crossings, found that the relatives of corruption scheme figure Timur Mindich flew from Moscow even after the start of the full-scale invasion.

It turned out that from January 1 to September 18, 2023, Russian businessman Andrii Zhuravlov — the husband of Timur Mindich’s sister — flew twice from Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport.
At the beginning of 2023, he flew from Moscow to the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv, where his wife Liubov Midich lives.
On this trip, he was accompanied by Teimuraz Khikhinashvili, who was Timur Mindich’s business partner in synthetic diamond production. According to registers, Mindich exited this business in December 2024. In communication with journalists, he denied these connections and said they had parted ways even before the full-scale war.
“And by an incredible coincidence, it was Mindich’s business partner Teimuraz Khikhinashvili who flew together with his son-in-law Andrii Zhuravlov from Moscow to Tel Aviv in 2023, right in the middle of the full-scale war,” Zheleznyak said.
Later in 2023, Zhuravlov and Khikhinashvili flew from Moscow again. This time to Dubai, where another Timur Mindich company is located, which likely helped sell diamonds abroad.
