Olha Brus, a lawyer at EvrikaLaw, explained that this right is retained provided the law is followed and a full set of documents is available.
Required documents include:
- A biometric international passport;
- An order for a business trip or vacation;
- A military registration document with up-to-date data in the “Reserve+” app;
- Proof of deferment in the form of an extract from the “Oberih” registry.
The deferment must cover the entire period abroad, and the purpose of the trip must match the submitted documents. Border guards check the deferment status via the “Oberih” registry, and the business trip or vacation order is a mandatory condition for crossing.
