📈 As of April 17, 2025, more than 6.9 million Ukrainians are living abroad, and this number continues to grow. Since the beginning of the year, about 100,000 people have left Ukraine, according to the National Bank of Ukraine citing UN statistics.

🏠 Inside the country, the number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) is also increasing. According to the International Organization for Migration, as of March 2025, there are 3.8 million IDPs in Ukraine — 188,000 more than at the beginning of the year.
📊 The largest number of displaced persons live in Dnipropetrovsk (16%) and Kharkiv (12%) regions.
⚠️ More than half of the IDPs (52%) were forced to leave homes in areas that remained fully or partially occupied at the time of data collection.
↩️ According to IOM, 4.1 million people have already returned to their permanent places of residence.
