Macron noted that British, French, German, Turkish, and other forces are ready to conduct operations to secure the air, sea, and land in a non-provocative manner and not on the front lines. At the same time, he warned against placing excessive trust in the Kremlin, calling Russia a “destabilizing force” and “a predator at our doorstep.”
The French leader stressed that a peace agreement must ensure that Ukrainians can rebuild their country, live in safety, and have sufficient deterrence, while Europeans gain peace and stability.
