According to him, after a week of targeted terror, Russia launched hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles.
“This latest wave of terror is another reminder that the Kremlin continues to rely on attacks against civilians as it suffers defeat on the battlefield,” Budrys said.
He also stressed that any calls to resume dialogue with Russia and Belarus ignore reality, as these states continue their aggressive war and terror against civilians.
The Lithuanian foreign minister emphasized that Ukraine needs not only political statements but concrete steps: increased military aid, tougher sanctions against Russia, full political and economic isolation of the aggressor, the use of frozen Russian assets, and accelerated EU integration for Ukraine.
“The Kremlin must understand that every act of terror will lead to higher costs, deeper isolation, and stronger support for Ukraine,” he concluded.
