💥 Israeli military officials reported the destruction of dozens of terrorists and their infrastructure targets. Medical sources report 130 deaths from airstrikes across Gaza, including many women and children.
🍞 The office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel will allow the import of basic goods to prevent a humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
🕊️ Netanyahu earlier expressed readiness for a deal with Hamas that includes a ceasefire, but on conditions of releasing all hostages, expelling Hamas, and disarming the Gaza Strip — demands rejected by Hamas.
⚰️ During Hamas’s October attack on Israel, about 1,200 people, mostly civilians, were killed. Hamas holds about 58 hostages, most of whom are believed to be dead.
🤝 Indirect negotiations in Qatar aim at a two-month ceasefire: Hamas to release some living hostages, Israel to free Palestinians from prisons and end the Gaza blockade. However, no progress has been made so far.
