🛂 Tbilisi has approached Kyiv with several mechanisms for the safe return of Ukrainian citizens, who, after being deported from russia, are stuck in the neutral zone at the Georgian border. This was reported by the “Echo of the Caucasus” publication.

✈️ Among the proposed options are air and sea routes. However, as stated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Ukraine is not yet ready for the sea option and has not made a decision regarding the evacuation of these individuals. Consultations on organizing air transportation are ongoing.
⚖️ Tbilisi added that most of these individuals have criminal pasts, including convictions for serious and especially serious crimes. Therefore, the main task of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is to ensure safety and prevent the entry of potentially dangerous individuals into the country.
📄 The ministry also emphasized that some of the arrivals are impersonating Ukrainian citizens by using invalid documents and do not meet the criteria for crossing the Georgian border.
