🇺🇸 Former United States Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink sharply criticized President Donald Trump’s administration for ignoring experienced specialists and lacking a strategic approach in relations with Ukraine and russia.

⚠️ Brink admitted that in the Trump administration she did not have the opportunity to offer recommendations that contradicted the president’s views — the bureaucracy’s role remained limited.
💡 She emphasized that compared to the Trump administration, during the Biden administration her persistence and advice often annoyed others, but she considered it her duty.
🛡️ The former diplomat believes it was a major mistake to neglect experienced people in dealing with russia. She warned that putin has a large-scale strategic plan, very dangerous for the United States, and overcoming it requires a thoughtful and coordinated approach.
🔄 Brink also pointed out the chaotic political process in Washington, which complicates the implementation of a strategy to contain russia and fails to send a clear signal to China.
