📢 Denmark will become the first country in Europe to legally recognize a person’s appearance, facial features, and voice as objects of copyright. A bill aimed at combating deepfakes and AI misuse is expected to be adopted in autumn 2025.

🛡️ Once in force, every citizen will have the legal right to demand the removal of content if their face or voice was used without consent. The law will also allow individuals to go to court to protect their personal non-property rights.

🎭 The law will not apply to satire or parody, in order to maintain a balance with the right to freedom of speech.
