The Ukrainian delegation has arrived in the United States to participate in the annual Financial Week of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, which begins on October 13 in Washington.

This was reported by Ukraine’s ambassador to the U.S., Olga Stefanishyna.
The delegation includes:
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko,
Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak,
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov,
Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko,
Head of the National Bank Andriy Pyshnyi,
Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Oleksii Sobolev,
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Serhiy Kyslytsia.
According to Stefanishyna, the main purpose of the visit is to deepen cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in the field of security and to strengthen international pressure on Russia.
The Ukrainian delegation will hold a series of important meetings, including:
– continuing dialogue on the development of agreements between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States;
– discussions on Ukraine’s energy resilience;
– participation in the IMF and World Bank Financial Week sessions;
– the annual ministerial-level roundtable in support of Ukraine;
– bilateral negotiations with the U.S. administration and Congress;
– meetings with American businesses.
It is expected that during these events, the Ukrainian side will raise issues of financial support, energy security, and economic recovery amid the ongoing war.
