Specifically, from Azerbaijan, Ukraine received energy equipment (12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, 5 transformers, and 27,000 meters of cable) to restore electricity supply in regions affected by Russian attacks.
The Netherlands announced an additional €23 million for energy support to Ukraine, which will include gas purchases, equipment for emergency repairs of power plants, and the supply of energy equipment from Dutch companies, including generators and cables.
By the end of January, energy and medical equipment from Slovakia and other countries is expected to arrive.
“We are grateful to our partners for support that warms us both literally and figuratively. This is support that shows we are not alone. Therefore, we will defeat Russian terror,” Sybiga emphasized.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also thanked Ukrainian energy workers who help restore light and warmth to homes. Diplomats will continue to do everything possible to attract additional support for their work.
