🌍 Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, after participating in the parade in moscow on May 8–9, stated that the country remains committed to the path of European integration and aims to accelerate the process of joining the EU.

🤝 After a meeting with European Council President António Costa, Vučić emphasized that Belgrade wants to open new chapters in negotiations with the EU and is ready to step up reforms needed for membership.

⚠️ At the same time, he acknowledged that the atmosphere in the European Union is not particularly favorable following his visit to moscow, where he met with putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

💬 António Costa reminded that for further progress, Serbia must align its foreign policy with that of the EU, including the introduction of sanctions against russia.

🕊️ “A key element is a clear condemnation of russia’s aggression against Ukraine and support for a just peace,” Costa emphasized.
