The Defense Forces of Ukraine have stopped attempts by Russian troops to expand their presence in the northern districts of Pokrovsk and are conducting a clearing operation in the area. This was reported by the press service of the 7th Air Assault Corps.

In recent days, Ukrainian units have created the conditions to reinforce personnel and equipment within the corps’ area of responsibility, which allowed them to halt the buildup of Russian forces in the north of the city and prevent the road between Pokrovsk and Rodynske from being cut off.
Additional assault units and special forces have been deployed to strengthen the defense. On November 2 alone, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 19 occupiers within the city limits.
Russian troops were also spotted on the approaches to the southeastern outskirts of Myrnohrad, where a group of about 10 soldiers was operating. According to the Air Assault Forces, these units are currently being destroyed, and additional reserves have already been deployed to reinforce the region’s defense.
