“Today, on Volunteer Day, the Poroshenko Foundation, together with the NGO ‘Spрава Gромад,’ is delivering another shipment to meet the needs of twenty units,” the fifth President wrote on social media.
The frontline brigades received a DAF YA truck, an armored evacuation Land Rover, 4 mobile sawmills, 6 laundry-shower complexes, 9 dome EOD kits, 725 FPV drones of various modifications, 88 charging stations, 71 inverter generators, 25 drone detectors “Aspirin 2.0,” 108 tires for pickups, 18 Starlink units, and a shipment of electronics.
“In Ukraine, there are two parallel worlds. The first is the one we live in. We work and do everything possible to stop the enemy. Here are the people who have taken up arms and those who have become their reliable rear. Soldiers who, shedding blood, defend our sovereignty. Volunteers and philanthropists who are in daily contact with the troops and know where to procure even the most scarce items. Those who open fundraising campaigns and direct their own funds to the Defense Forces,” Poroshenko said.
“The second is the world in which the Ukrainian authorities live. While adopting the budget for the next year, they are preparing for elections. They increase their own salaries and distribute money in the form of ‘national cashback,’ ‘winter support.’ They maintain spending on laying cobblestones and continue creating loopholes for embezzlement in fortifications and energy projects,” the party leader noted.
“The ‘Mindichgate’ scandal taught the authorities nothing. The path they have chosen leads us to defeat. The path we follow—the path of the Armed Forces, the path of Ukrainian volunteers—leads us all to saving Ukraine. Together we can save the state. Happy Volunteer Day! To those who cannot stand aside!” Petro Poroshenko wrote.
