“Today we are driving all evil out of our home and our country. This is exactly what our heroic Armed Forces are doing right now. Some of the ‘Ai-Petri’ systems you see in the photo will cover the skies over Kyiv and help defend against enemy attacks,” Poroshenko wrote on social media.
“Today we are transferring five such PDTR complexes to the 12th Separate Center, with which we have been working since its creation. To the best operators who, using ‘Ai-Petri’, will force down reconnaissance drones, Shaheds, and enemy strike UAVs. As always, the complexes are additionally supplied with pickups, generators, charging stations, and electronic warfare systems,” the fifth President writes.
“We are also transferring a system to the fighters of the National Police assault brigade ‘Liut’. It already has the capability to take down FPV drones. The fighters will soon go to the line of contact with our system, and this option will save the lives of our soldiers,” Poroshenko notes.
“In total, we are transferring six ‘Ai-Petri’ systems, and there will be more,” Poroshenko announces.
Since autumn 2023, Petro Poroshenko has invested more than 200 million hryvnias in the production of unique “Ai-Petri SV” technical intelligence countermeasure systems, which have successfully passed testing and are used in the Armed Forces, covering a thousand kilometers of the line of contact. For a long time, the state did not allocate funding for this program. A year ago, Poroshenko reported a contract with the Ministry of Defense.
Russian reconnaissance drones and strike UAVs — “Lancets,” “Zalas,” “Orlans,” and others — threaten not only our troops but also critical infrastructure and civilian facilities. “Ai-Petri” is cybersecurity with unique capabilities, developed by specialists of our team — programmers and engineers. Today, there is nothing similar either in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or among the enemy. And we have established mass production,” Poroshenko previously reported. Overall, since the beginning of the project, the troops have already received about three hundred systems.
